Because of my wireless card or the wireless network??

Hi Guys!!!
I'm using Toshiba laptop and neighbor's wireless network!!! I haven't known where the wireless is.
There are three wireless networks available in my room. Their name is default and linksys... The default is unscure wireless, I dont need to access WEP key.
1 month ago, I connected the default wireless whenever I turned on my laptop. But recently, I can't connect it. I moved around my room to find the good place but there is only one, it's my bed to use this wireless.It's always disconnect when I'm using it after 2,3 minutes or sometime I haven't seen it available on my wireless range for 3,4 days. It's driving me crazy. There is sometimes over 10 disconnected times. I have to pay a patient to reconnect it.

The another problem is the same with Default network.When I tried to use another wireless. It's free too. Always Disconnect after I use it 2,3 minutes or sometime it is not available for longtime.


My question is"The problem is my wireless card or the Default wireless network. My wireless card is too bad or the wireless is too faraway."

I would try to remove the card and reboot reinstall the drivers and setup your computer up with a manual ip therefore it should find your network and only your network.


It could also be some router saettings that need to be adjust such as portforwarding ,and disable wirrless network service too in windows xp it could be part of the disconnects since it always searching for a new network.
