Cannot Access Linksys WRT54G setup

Hey,

before now i have had no need to go to my Routers settings (although i did once in awhile to forward ports for games)

But now, I've got a Nintendo Wii, so i need my Wii to be able to access my router, but to do that i need to find out all the security (WEP key's... Sid, etc.)

I've cleared the cache (i use firefox) for firefox, i tried accessing it by IE, that didn't work, so i cleared IE's cache and cookies, but still only the blank screen!

http://192.168.1.1/ i usually go here, (Username = admin Password = admin)

But now, i can't get into it, i put the right user name and password, but all it goes to is a blank page.

Whats going on?

By default, username is left blank...the password is admin.

i worked it out, someone had previousley pressed that white button (that turns orange when my DS/Wii connects to it. And that makes the router unaccessable (Still have internet though), all i had to do to get the white lightback on was boot up my other networked computer!

I have a problem with the same router.

For some reason, I am going to 192.168.1.1 And it will ask for my username and password. I have always kept the username blank so I just enter the password. Today, however, I can not access it, as it says I am using the wrong password or something.

Is there anything I can do?

Press the reset button on back of router using a pen or paper clip. This restores the router default settings, access & then reconfigures it.

Yup, gotta hold it for like 25-30 secs.


Then make sure to change the password so others cant get control of it as easily.
