I don't have dsl or cable where I live. But I do have a broadband air card for my laptop. Is there a way i can connect. I just want some updates.

Not really sure cause I have never tried but I would think that maybe with a nic card in the machine and a crossover cable might work for live, but not 100% sure. I am sure you could play on XBC if you get decent pings with it.

well you can possibly find some of those card readers... well external ones and possibly somehow make it works for the 360 maybe i don't know.. plug it in the back like it were the wireless adapter for the 360... not sure if this would work but it's worth a shot I guess..

I use mine all the time.

I made an account just so i could post on this. Its possible. I use a sierra wireless compass 597 from sprint. If you bridge your connections on your pc and share your cdma connection then you can play xbox live off of it. Just plug in your aircard in one end of your computer and an ethernet cable at the other and bridge/share the connection. I do it pretty much every day. works just fine. lots of lag cause its not off of a hard line but I know for a fact you can bridge it.

    ok, answer this one.

I am useing a verizon air card, but I have it pluged into a cradlepoint wipipe router 802.11N. This particular router has ethernet plugs on the back. Can I attach a ethernet cable to it and run it to my xbox360 and be able to get xbox live.

I am sure this would work but the best thing to do is just try it!

I finally got mine to work. What I had to do was go to the connections which is easy to get to on Vista, just go to the start menu, click on 'Connect To', then click 'Open Network and Sharing Center', then click 'Manage Network Connections'. Right click on the CDMA connection and go to Properties, then go to Sharing tab and check the first box that allows other users to connect to that connection and allow it to share connection with the one that your XBOX is connected to, it was called Local Area Connection on my computer. After that, Turn on your Xbox, and connect to the internet. If you were already connected, disconnect and reconnect, and if your xbox was already on, reset it. Hopefully that works for you, it did for me

okay I have a verizon aircard and am getting xbox live soon... so far i recognize that I should keep my aircard plugged into the back of my computer and use an ethernet cable connected from the back of my xbox to the back of my computer... but to connect to xbox live, which connections should I bridge? or is that not recommended?
