Maybe there is somewhere that is already fits. But has anyone considered a linux forum?

Look one thread below yours.
Naw, thread went swayed a little to get there.
I think Philip is still mulling it over, as a sub-forum under "software"
Perhaps if more people would post positives.. he might say:
Make it so

I think the good captain was assimilated.
Well I ain't to good at linux. So if there were a forum it would have a lot of threads from me asking dumb questions. But I get my other dumb questions answered on SG so I may as well get my linux dq's answered here too.![]()
Joe
Just use the software forum for now. If there are enough threads to justify it at some point we might add another.

Don't feel bad Joe. I don't know it at all. If I win the lottery at work and get one of the computers that they are giving away (Computer services promises to give me the fastest P3 that they have), I was thinking of installing Linux on it and running FAH.Originally Posted by joecool169

Well I bought a book, and read a little. I chose to install debian, and I managed to get two boxes folding. So I figure that ain't too bad for a n00b.![]()

That is my problem, I hate to read the manual. Lately, I have not had the patience.Originally Posted by joecool169
