How do I connect 1 wireless router to another wireless router

I have upgraded my primary router when I started with Vonage so I now have a spare Linksys wireless -b router that I'm not using. I'd like to connect it to my second PC and then by wire to an xbox - both in another room and wireless connect to my primary wireless for internet access. I have looked in the forums to see if this has been asked and no luck - probably not searching wih good enough terms. Help?! thanks

Whoops..spaced out....didn't register in my head you were talking about the first router being wireless.

What make/model is the primary router? Sounds like what you want to do is WDS or wireless bridge...both of which are a bit finicky to setup if not the same brand across the board.

You should be able to connect the wifi router to the other router, disable the router functions of the wifi router first and have it act only as an AP and give the wifi router a static ip. Disable the wifi dhcp & let dhcp be handled by the other router. It's same method of connecting an AP to an existing router.

The primary wirelss router is Linksys WRTP54G and the secondary wireless router is Linksys BEFW11S4
