I have been using outlook from MS office 2000 for a couple months. All of a sudden, I cannot open the program. It says that it cannot be configured because I don't have administrator setting or whatever. I am running windows ME. If anyone can help, I would be overjoyed!! This is really pissing me off!! Thanks...
I had something like that happen to me when I reformatted my PC. I burned a backup to CD, and restored my mailbox and things from that. What I had to do was uncheck Read-Only on some of the files properties.
The error 1402 keeps coming up when I try to repair/uninstall the program with the disc. Is there any settings on Windows ME that I can disable "admin" settings. I never did anything before that would require me to have those privliges. It is a home computer and there are no networks or anything. Also, it seems like it needs set-up again or something. This is crazy!!
