my pc says winhttp.dll file missing, must reinstall.

what should i do? and how to reinstall?

Which OS? With 2K it was one thing..with XP I think part of BITS.

Google yields a whole bunch of downloads for it..for 90% of users that might work just to download the DLL and copy it to its proper location. However..I'm not a fan of that. Who knows what that DLL is you're downloading..who "inserted" something into it.

I had that problem once and download some BITS update and that fixed it.
