You might want to "uninstall" cablenut's patch, or whichever one you used.

If nothing else works, backup your Registry and try the following:

The question mark is there since I have no idea what connection you are on. Anyway, I believe you can safely delete IPAddress and IPMask.

    I hope that helps.

Int the patches section of this site there is a patch to restore your settings back to default.

I would check the patches page here and download the windows original default patch.

He used other patches, not the ones on this site, so our defaults might not undo everything.

    Question

Was just wondering, how do you actually remove a string? Right click Delete? Windows seems to stress that it is better to rename it instead. So how does one safely remove them?

DG I have road runner to and was not able to use cablenuts Patch. It messed my reg up bad. This was even after I did a reformat and reinstall on windows . It was the only tweak I used. So I had to remove it. So you would proubly be better off removeing it and trying some of the other speedtweaks here and see if they help you out. GoodLuck! No offense Cablenut , Just did not work in my system.

DG Glad to here you got it working right.I live in Canton not to far from Northcanton.I would rather think cablenuts Patch is just not captible with Roadrunner In this are. They have been doing a lot of upgrades to their services too. This could be the reason to. Oh Well! Just glad to here you have it working great!
