    10Mbps = how many KB/sec

    Is it 1000 KB/sec?

    Just about.

    10 Mb(its)ps is 10,000,000 bits

    10,000,000 / 8bits(8 bits per byte) = 1,250,000 bytes

    1,250,000 bytes / 1024bytes (1 kilobyte) = about 1220 KB

    and even better 1220KB / 1024KB (1MB) = 1.2 MB!

    so thats about the capacity of a 1.44 floppy ever second just about
