Ok then you can just replace the speaker.

or if you are under warranty and if they are included take it back.

Never go to the stealership to get anything fixed unless your car is still under warranty.

Also, Sir Mix-A-Lot has a lot of bass. You have to keep that stuff turned down below max volume.

Ask someone that has an afterarket stereo in thier car where they got the work done. The dealer is gonna RAPE you for an original part, whereas a custom stereo person can source it much cheaper. Dan outta be able to help ya as well.

Dealer would be best to replace the original speaker, best buy or a speaker palce could put a newer one in but that could change the sound based on how the other speakers work at a certain power level or if its a premium system some use a factory amp and others are jsut made different than after market coaxials and amy not work.

Just ask about this ahead of time.

Tom Jones can blow out speakers? Damn, that guy still rocks.

Just go buy new speakers (don't go to the dealership, waste of time and $$$$). If you have a friend who knows how to install them, you'll save some cash there. Otherwise, I'd go to Best Buy and buy a new set with free installation.

I have the same disc playing now on me puter... and cranked some..but I have lots of replacement speakers for these guys!

Dealerships scare me somewhat...and no this guy is out of warranty. I once took her up there for a loose steering problem...their solution near $600.00 verses local mechanic for about $75.00!!

Thanks guys You are at least giving me some ideas .. much appreciated!!

Call a wrecking yard. Give them the make, model and year of your car. If you can find a used one, it shouldn't be too expensive.
