Problems with gaming on ICS server

I have a DSL modem and I'm running Microsoft ICS for a client computer. Ever since I installed the ICS, I've been unable to host a game. Players are unable to connect to my IP. Should I be using the gateway IP? Nothing seems to work. It doesn't make sense because this machine is the server and has the one real IP. Gaming shouldn't be affected by the installation of ICS! Help!

to download a program that will allow you to open the ports needed by the games that ICS is blocking. I had this same problem and this cured it.

Thanks a lot rpeAMP, but I still have a question. Which port do I need to open to allow incoming connections in a game? Do I need to open up port 80? Won't that cause security problems?

I'm using Unreal Tournament by the way.

well it depends on what game your trying to play, they dont all use the same ports.., what game are you trying to play?

oops, i didnt catch the last sentence of your post, my bad.. and i think unreal tournament is usually port 7777 or 7787 or something like that if im not mistaken..

I downloaded the map for the Unreal Tournament ports and it works great! Thanks!

Anyone know which ports are needed for Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed? I can't seem to find a map...
