    Any one know how to hack ADSL speed ?

    I am using a service for family, so the ISP limited my ADSL speed at 2048 Kb/s ? Is there any way to crack the limited ???

    Thank you so much ! I already read it and do some tweak ! Actually, the speed seems faster, however, it just accelerate over 100Kb/s in some first seconds, and still below 70Kb/s when downling. It looks like, the speed already went up, but it was limited by the ISP ! So, Please help me !

    My ISP is FPT, Vietnam ( maybe you dont know ). They advertise Down : 2048/ Kbs and Up : 256Kb/s

    MTU = 1478
    MTU is not fully optimized for broadband. Consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput.
    MSS = 1438
    MSS is not fully optimized for broadband (although it might work well for slower connections). Consider increasing your MTU value.
    Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 255964
    RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 2 bits (scale factor of 4)
    Unscaled Receive Window = 63991

    RWIN is a multiple of MSS
    Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
    506176 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
    253088 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
    126544 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
    63272 (MSS x 44)
    bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 10238.56 kbps (1279.82 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 4095.424 kbps (511.928 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
    MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
    Time to live left = 53 hops

    TTL value is ok.
    Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
    Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
    IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000

    Unless you work at the teleco as a data service technician, no.

    Crank your MTU up to 1492 if your on ADSL... as for boosting your connection speed from what your alloted from your ISP well sorry to say there is no way less you know someone that works there as a tech...so I'd just forget about that idea. Your speeds are pretty much set to what you pay for. I don't see any other issues in your settings only advise I can offer is to look at other ISP's and see what they offer as speeds compared to what your getting. But I think when you slide up the thread "how to hack my internet" your sailing in off limit waters. As uncapping or hacking your modem and stuff of that nature isn't legal and is stealing bandwidth from other users and your ISP which is the same as stealing cable or a candybar.

    Thank you very much ! I will try your suggestion.
    Because after I applied your tweaking here, the speed really soar up, but as I said, just in few first seconds. So I thought, must have a way to keep the speed
    at the high speed longer ! At any way, thank you again !
