Hi all, well my modem turned up today but the cable guy won't be here until the 4th January to fit the cable, what i would like to know is if there are any tweaks available for this modem, it would be nice if it did'nt affect my user aggreement im currently going to be capped 512k/128k at the mo but just thiunking if there where any tweaks.

When you get your line installed, test it out and see if you can reach your caps. If not, try the appropriate Speed Guide registry patch.

Just follow the link glc1 gave you. The tweaks are for your operating system, not for the modem itself.

The point of the tweak is to get you as close to your cap as possible, not busting up your cap, so you are fine with your agreement.

Yeah, I forgot to point that out. The registry patches work their magic by modifying the registry.

You won't be able to get above your caps, however, the patches can help you reach your caps, should you need help.
