A7N8X-X Can't get into Bios or past post

I have a brand now Asus A7n8X-X and Athlon 2400+ with 256MB RAM. It will post but gives bios errors that needed to be corrected, but then says press del to go to bios. You press del and it clears the screen and puts the cursor in the top left corner and it blinks and the computer stays there. I can not get past it. I have flashed the bios and reset it a couple of times. Any ideas!

Wish i could help, i ahve the -E not -X so im not familiar with that mobo, but ill try and find some info.
So you installed it and botoed up and you cant get into windows? You press del to go into the bios and its an all black screen with just a cursor?

That is correct! I just tried a different stick of RAm and now I tried a PCI video Card instead of a AGP and it worked!!!!!

I am confused!!!
