    need some help with BF1492

I've noticed while playing with allot of people on the server my game stutters from time to time. Last night I was on the SG server and at several times while I had bad stuttering problems, mainly when there was allot of action in my immediate area. I have changed my connection type to 56k, but I believe it is more to do with my pc rather than my connection. Can anyone give me any tips on tweaking my pc for bf? Specs are:
    PIII 800/133 , 512mb ram , Geforce 3 ti500
    Thanks

How much graphics memory does your card have? What connection type do you have? Do you have all your settings on low? Jus trying to see if I can better answer your question...Mine stutters from time to time too, close ALL other unnesscary programs and make sure your sound settings are on low too because that can cause problems too.

Sorry to break this too ya dude but there isn't much you can do outside of a few things but. DC mod is a serious resource hog. Your machine is pretty slow relatively speaking.
    Respect it.

graphics card is 64 mb, using charter pipeline 2k up / 128 down.
All background programs are closed with enditall. I believe I'm running at 800x600 with the settings low, I'll check when I get home tonight.

yeah it is slow no doubt about that. I've managed to help a couple of other games in the past by doing some tweaks, just hoping there is something out there to help me until I finally decide to build a new one.

What settings do you run it at? Graphics/resolution, etc?

Yes your machine is a bit on the slower side, CPU wise, and even graphics card, but I still played bf on a GF3 64 card....lower settings, etc...still playable.

I had went in and changed the video settings to low in the game, just checked them and they were at the defualt settings. I chanded them again and made sure I saved the changes this time so hopefully that will help.
