Question DELL Computer beeps 4 times after boot

I just installed a Maxtor 2d and a Voodoo2 PCI card on my friends old pentium 200mhz MMX. It's a DELL optiplex GXi 5200. The sys only has 64 mb of ram.

Everything works great, programs pop right up and when I went into system information , there is nothing listed as a problem device eerrr(?)

After I boot it up the computer does one long beep then it is followed by 4 beeps ( pretty fast beeps ) but everything seems ok.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this? He has no tech support for the PC.

hhhmmmm I just thought of something ... The computer was running a S3 triov+ 64...

heheh NM I forgot to disable the S3 chip hahaha

You need to go to the motherboard manufacturer site or look in the mobo manual because those beeps are post codes which means there is some kind of error. You have to remember how many beeps or if the beeps make a "song". Then look in the mobo manual or on the mobo site and it should tell you what the beeps mean. I know that they mean some kind of error with the mobo. Hope that helps!
