Alcatel speedtouch (home->pro) pb inside :(

    Hi all !
I have a speedtouch pro (home->pro), and I have some pb with it.
I have done some Nat rules, configured my defserver and disabled my firewall. Now my apache server, ftp server and game server are all visibles on the net, visible yes but not reachables I don't understand why ?
For example when someone is connecting to my ftp server, he receives : data socket error, so he is in my ftp but he cannot see any files.
When someone is connecting to my game server : server did not respond.
My apache server works, no pb with it.
Here are some informations about my connection :

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    TCP options string = 0204058c01010402
    MTU = 1460
MTU is not fully optimized for broadband. Consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput.
    MSS = 1420
MSS is not fully optimized for broadband (although it might work well for slower connections). Consider increasing your MTU value.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 65320
    RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
    Unscaled Receive Window = 65320

RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
    522560 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 8)
    261280 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 4)
    130640 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 2)
    bandwidth * delay product:

    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2612.8 kbps (326.6 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1045.12 kbps (130.64 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
    MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 114 hops

    TTL value is ok.
    Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
    Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know my MTU is too low, is it the pb ?
I've change my registry, I've put 1492 to my MTU, but my MTU still the same (1460) I don't know why.
    Plz help me

PS : sorry for my poor english

Are you using a router or other NAT?
If you are, then try using Port 21 for FTP. This should clear up the problem that your custom port number is causing.

No, I don't have a solution for NAT, FTP, and using any other port other than the intended Port 21. It seems that with NAT, only Port 21 doesn't end up causing socket errors with ftp servers.

Also if both parties are using NAT, then sometimes Port 21 can not even work properly.

Be sure your FTP server is configured to use PASV and you friend connecting also uses PASV.

If you intend on running servers, Generally your best performance is to NOT use a NAT router to the dedicated Server Machine, as it having a real Internet IP address will make a ton of difference in propper opperation.

And what about my MTU ?
my MTU is at 1460, how can I increase it ?
I have upgraded my registry, putting the right Key with 1500, but nothing have changed.
Must I change the MTU directly in my Modem ? using Telnet ?
    If yes, how ?
    Plz Help
