Hmmmpf, i was interested in the 9200 but it doesn't support directX 9.

Looks like the 9500 is the lowest model that they have that has DX9.

Well it's not like there letting it happen, there cards are great but for now at least ATI is on top, such a close race though... still is anyone's guess! Personally i hope they stay this close for a while, we all get great products at great prices.

Plus, NVIDIA has a lot more $ to spend then ATi, I forget exactley what they each have, but NVIDIA is way ahead, I just hate all these people that switched to ATI because they finally have a better card, i've got a 9700 Pro only because I didn't feel like waiting for NVIDIA. Big deal, they messed up and aren't in the lead, they soon will be. When does the next line of GFFX come out? This summer? What will they be called? Do we have any numbers yet?

well thats a stupid reason, the 9700pro is far superior to your ti 4200, yet you returned it cause it didn't seem right to ahve an ATI card in your system

thats like the dumbest excuse i've heard yet

who cares who is in lead, just get the best card

right now thats the 9700pro, err 9800 pro actually now

when the nv35 comes out it very well could be the fastest/best card, won't know though till its out

right now though 9700/9800 pro is the best, bar none

i hate people who have to think they are 'switching sides' they are either nvidia or ati, it doesn't have to be like that! don't say your 'switching'

just say i'm getting so and so card cause it is the best right now...

when the next best card comes out then you can say that one is it, who cares if nvidia or ati makes it, look at the technology and the iq and the performance

I like nvidia cuz of it's trouble free installation of drivers. plug it in, install drivers, you're good to go. Too bad (Ugh) ATI wasn't that easy for me. Oh, yeah, i would say it's easy, easy to get a headache trying to get the dam thing to run properly, lol

    Need I say more?

Exactly my thoughts Brent! I love Nvidia for good performance yet lower priced cards, right now for maximum performance an ATI is the way to go and it will just keep going back and forth so all you people worried about video card politics...

Best analogy I ever heard was on a Car tech show, can't remember which one though.
