Got it, but what about the random password?

Thanks for the reply. SSID aside, I understand a dictionary word is a weak password. I know CoWPAtty can crack words with minimal effort, but what about large random passwords like 63 character (all printable)? Would such a WPA password prevent the success of a CoWPAtty attack or just slow it down?

Is it true that CoWPAtty would take more than 53710 days to crack a password of "aaaaaaaa" ?? If so, is it safe to assume that using a password of AJ¹X½<`¾kljNºs#óF2K7Zê?D.ñïS¨1|@h:[Éׯ6Bò϶ôÄÚ'ð&=LïMi4Y\%¬â5)$[ would take 429,680 days to crack?

Can anything stop the church of WiFi? :-)

If I was WiFi proficient, I wouldn't be asking.

Thanks
