Re: Browsers
I went back to the DDG browser. It works nicely and it's a bit faster than FF. I even seem to like the DDG search engine fairly well. How about a bowl of grass fed beef soup with low carb vegetables? I take lots of pics of my keto meals and post them on facebook. Any interest in posting pics of our ...

I know what you mean. I actually deleted my Yelp account about 6 months ago. I figure... who really cares? So much of those or any reviews are probably sketchy at best. Like you said, they make you feel good for a minute but after that... who really cares? True. And if you feel different about it d...

Re: Browsers
Firefox is fine if you like it, most of the main browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) are good. "Brave" is also an option. I don't like the Edge bloated home page and settings either, but you can turn all that off in the settings and change your home/new tab page to some simpler search engine...

Re: Browsers
FF has a nice punctuation editor add on. It's different, plus I like the privacy. I've had a habit of leaving a negative review when I had hard feelings about a local business, but that only seems to help for a short time, and at times I would have been better off to not leave any review at all. I g...

Re: Browsers
I'm perfectly content with Chrome. I've tried everything you've mentioned except FF and Edge. You mentioned that "I Couldn't use google search on Chrome". That just doesn't sound right. I think it's actually the default search engine for Chrome. It was probably because DDG Brave changed m...

I'm logged in with FF now.
Would it be worth running FF instead of Chrome?
I like the way MSE runs, but I don't like their home page.
It seems good so far to be running FF.

Hi there, I had been using Chrome for quite a while, then saw some info about DuckDuckGo (DDG) browser so I tried it for a few days, then when I couldn't use google search on Chrome or MSE, I got fed up with it and removed it. Then I was reading about Firefox (which I used for several years, many ye...

I have read that the best way to consume flax seeds is to buy it as meal and not seed form. The rational was that the beneficial oils are not exposed and absorbed while in seed form and they just pass through the body. In meal form you get the full benefit. I don't eat whole flax seeds. My Ninja ha...

The blade on my Ninja BL454 was acting up. I was feeling heat on the blade axle after making a smoothie for quite a while, then the other day it almost wouldn't turn at all. It sounded funny and would not turn at a consistent high speed. I could hardly turn it by hand. I bought a replacement blade o...

So if you had Castrol or Quaker State 0w-20...it would be just like water too when you pull the dipstick when cool. I personally don't find these oils to be as watery as PP 0w20. I changed my oil 2 days ago. The old oil seemed like it could have gone another 6 to 12 months. So I ran this 11 months, and just under 2,200 miles. The trip B meter says I drove the car for 105.5 hours (I think that's what it means) during the time this oil was in my engine. EV : 25% - 556 miles. T...

I like milk. We don't have it in the house very often. We'll buy a half gallon of lowfat about every 3-5 weeks. I usually finish it off in less than a week. Many people have bad bacteria in their GI tract that they're oblivious to, from taking antibiotics, from eating processed foods, sugar, HFCS, and other things. When they take something powerful like MCT oil, all hell breaks loose, and they aren't ready for the aftermath. So it's good to have your GI...

Is Yahoo! a Good Source of News?
I signed in to Yahoo! today for the first time in years. More Helpful Fatty Acids Found in Organic Milk
I guess I may drink organic whole milk from now on. I used to drink 1% milk but the trouble with that is, it has synthetic Vitamin A added, and Vitamin A toxicity affects quite a few people, including me. That can cause dry skin, eczema, etc. They say organic milk comes from cows that are fed more t...

For years I've known about coconut oil reversing or improving Alzheimer's, and MCT oil is derived from coconut oil, which makes it even more powerful. The Many Benefits of MCT Oil
This stuff is amazing. I can now tolerate 1/2 tsp 2x a day with food. I plan to work up to 1 to 2 TBS per day, in food. I'm 72 now, and it seems to do me a lot of good. Start slow on it, like 1/2 tsp a day in food, and work up slowly over 1-2 weeks. Otherwise it can cause loose bowels -------------...

Newer/smaller engines tend to run much thinner oils, they're fine even if they seem watery. As to the frequency, with new full synthetic oils you can go over a year easily imho if you don't make the miles. What I've also done on my cars is take a syringe and pull out the brake fluid from the master...

Trust me, it's way too easy to overthink motor oil, changing frequency and which one is the best. If you're only driving 3-4k per year I think you're doing the right thing by changing your oil once a year. Pick a quality full synthetic oil in the rating that your engine calls for and use a quality ...

Pennzoil Platinum Oil Seems Watery
I decided to finally run my motor oil 12 months, after changing my own oil 2x a year for quite a few years, since I now run full synthetic which my Prius calls for, so I no longer need to change my oil 2x a year and I only drive 3-4k miles per year. I now run Pennzoil Platinum FS 0w20, and it seems ...
