Do you block torrents? If you allow downloading of videos and music (which you shouldn't in my opinion) you will need a lot more than a T-1 - say ten t-1's.

I wonder if it will be like the New York power outages - a slew of babies in nine months? It isn't a joke - when a major outage occurs the hospitals count out nine months and tell them staff no vacations, plan on overtime.

Actually, the FCC is powering down all the older OnStar systems. When cellular goes all-digital next year, they will no longer work unless the phone home portion is replaced.
