Peta, Peta...

PETA has petitioned the city of Slaughterville, Oklahoma, to change its name, because the name brings up thoughts of killing animals.

The city was named after a local resident, James Slaughter.

I'm going to petition my town (Stonington) to change it's name. It brings great emotional distress to me to envision people a) getting stoned to death, or b) walking around all stoned looking.

I'm seeking counseling because I can't handle it...boohoo..
