There are up sides and down sides to any place that you live. Around here, there are plenty of down sides, such as being downwind from the cattle yards when the winds get really strong. Went to see Bill Clinton at a lecture last night down on the campus of West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, (where my wife graduated last year and my daughter currently attends), and was in for a very interesting evening. This past week I had the fortunate pleasure of being able to shoot some pictures (well, a lot of pictures, actually) of three key aircraft from the WWII era: the B-17 Flying Fortress, the B-24 Liberator, and the P-51 Mustang. All three are cared for by the Collings Foundation, and they tour them every year in order to raise money for the upkeep of these amazing aircraft. Last weekend for the Superbowl in Indy, my wife, two kids, son-in-law, and granddaughter all poured into my daughter's minivan and drove up to Indiana to enjoy all the festivities. We stayed at my mother-in-law's place, and spent Saturday downtown and watched the Superbowl from the house on Sunday. Had a great time, and took lots and lots of pictures
