I've recently had my broadband account activated (virgin.net in UK) and I'm having web browsing problems using a D-link dsl-504 modem /router. I have 2 PC's connected to the router.
Some web sites will not let me connect at all, some will let me connect sometimes and some are mostly OK though these will often refuse to load any images.
Email works perfectly but FTP does not. I've tried a speed test and I can get results close to my subscribed speed (512/256).
I have ruled it out being a browser problem as I've tried IE & opera and I've upgraded the firmware of the router to the latest version (2.21)
These problems only started with the use of broadband and my old 56k dial-up connection was fine.
I suspect it must be either my ISP or the router that is causing the problem. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me mad.
