Question on combining two images

I have these two images that I like and on the first one I like the person in the image but not the background. The second image I like because of the background. Now my question is how would I take the person in the first image and transfer it to the second image? I have PSP 7 and want to know how I would do this with this program.

how i do it is open the first pic and use the freehand select tool to draw an outline around the object,don't worry about making it real acurate, then click cut, minimize the pic.

open the second pic. and right click, select paste as new layer.

then you can resize and move the layer around how you like it, then use the eraser tool to remove any reminents around the pasted layer.

you can play with the many settings for color balance and such to match the layers, and use the smudge, and soften tool to blend in the layers alittle.

control +z lets you undo the last action
control+alt+z redoes the action
remeber to work in the layer you want


i'm not real good at it but it does get better with practice, just spend some time playing with it and post some results.

I didn't really need to combine the two images because I wasn't thinking. What I did was color in black on the background of the image that I liked. I don't know why I wanted to combine the two when I could of just have painted it black.
