I'm a complete newbie.

I have Apache running on my machine with a website I would like to host. I signed up with www.no-ip.com for a dynamic DNS solution. I have no idea on what to do next. I know I need to forward a port but thats it. I want my site to pull up when http://mysitename.no-ip.com to requested.

What you will need to do is forward the ports that you need to the correct machine, the one that is hosting the web server. I don't know exactly how to set up port forwarding with the Linksys, but web traffic runs on port 80 by default. So you would want to forward port 80 traffic to your web server. I am sure that linksys has instructions on how to forward a specific port, or someone else here who has experience with them can help.
