With the purchase of my new digi-cam (Kodak), I received a CD to load the download program for the camera. Included on the CD was an auto-update feature and I figured 'what the heck', it will save me the trouble of doing it manually. After the install, I ran Ad-Aware and it found a file (IadHide3.dll) that I could not delete. I found the file in my Local Settings folder and in right click/properties it said it was a Backweb file. Backweb is the auto update file for Kodak. So in Add/Remove progs., I removed auto update and then ad-aware could delete the .dll in question. So, my questions are, Is that .dll just a way for Backweb to drop a few ads while it updates software? Will it hurt anything to leave it on? Should I leave it off and just update manually? Thanx
