Don't know what's gotten into Encnuk. His 3 computers are really turning out the wu's and points. Over 400 per week. I'm churning 7 computers and can only generate a little over 200 per week. Wish he'd share his secret with the rest of us.:D :D ;)

I did not intend on publishing this information, but as you ask, I see no reason not letting you know.

You get points for the number of work units you return to Stanford. If a fold terminates pre-maturely due to an internal mathematical instability, the client returns the aborted fold to Stanford and you get the points as though you have completed the whole fold.

The Gromacs core with the 903 protein (pTrpCage) seems to have massive mathematical instability problems on my main machine. It is not unusual that it aborts within 10 - 30 minutes of starting a new protein fold and returns the answer to Stanford.
