Man I have this case right here and accidently snapped off the little piece of plastic at the top of the swinging door that pivots around the dowel. Here is my case http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?description=11-125-140&DEPA=1 and I did buy it from newegg.com I just sent their customer service an email but I was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions on what I could do. Thanks

Can you glue It - They have some great Epox Glues out There- Try Home Depot - 2 Part Epox-

If you have all the Parts It should glue back Like New !!

Is it at the Door Part 0r The Case - What you could do is try to get RMA from Newegg - It had a Little Crack on it when you got it and it just Let Go !!!

They wiil send you a New One !!!

Ugh....that's a tough one. It's a little tab that you can depress...almost like spring loaded...so I don't think gluing it will work.

when i got mine i scratched it and broke off the little tube taht goes over the hdd and power light.

melt the piece back on....

ive done this for those REAL remote control cars, the ones you gotta put together from scratch.....

anyway, a piece of plastic broke in it... and i took some extra plastic... and "soldered" with plastic, the pieces back together

same thing happen to me!

I bought a silver one from newegg a few weeks ago, I reglued it. Use some good super-glue, the door is tricky to get back on!

What about sending just the door back to newegg think they would give me or sell me another door?

I tried to reglue it too no luck when I try to put it back on it snaps back off. Like to see if I can get another one from newegg just the door. Wonder if they would help me out?

Weird I emailed newegg.com and they didn't reply right away so I called their 800 number and the tech said that it would be no problem and they would ship a new one out to me right away. He called it the Front Bezel or something anyways then a newegg tech returned my email and said it was not possible.. Who to believe?

Hey LT big up I just got the Fed Ex tracking number wooohooo newegg didn't let me down I love those guys. Yea it is sturdy on my other one too. But I painted one of them and when I did I took the front door off>like StoneCat said its like a plastic spring and when I put it back on it wouldn't pivot right so I have to take it back off to see what was wrong and it finally just gave in. All good though they just want me to return the old one.

Be careful next time tho ;) I noticed that lil clip is alittle flimsy, just don't be too hard on takin the door off. Do it gently .

It will never come off again. Those doors are made not to come off there is no doubt in my mind about that.
