Yes. There has been several threads in the past that have dealt with BlackICE's inability to monitor outgoing traffic and as a result, many posters did not like the software.

Personally, I have not used BI since version 2.9 which was the last version published by NetworkICE. Since the software has been taken over by ISS, they have included outgoing traffic monitor which places BI on par with ZoneAlarm, Tiny, Outpost, Norton and other comparable personal firewalls.

All of the products do about the same thing. I'm sure as this thread develops, there will be more detailed posts about user experience and the pro's and con's of these personal firewalls.
