HAPPY CAMPER HERE

I finally have my new computer back up and ALMOST running. I still have to set the BIOS and tweak all the little stuff ... but at least it finally booted up. YAY !!!

I lucked out and got sent a Shuttle AK35GT2R KT333 board to replace the AK35GTR KT266 that had been damaged through UPS. Same price ... but will take the PC2700 RAM where my old one would only accept the PC2100 RAM.

I hope to get this baby back up and running fully over the weekend. At last I get to install the Windows XP Professional that I got on the partners site. Can't wait ... but I guess I will have to. :D

Have included a couple of pics of it.

As of 12 noon today ... Sunday October 27th ... I have been online with my new computer. It has been running very well. Still have to tweak it here and there ... but it feels good to have it back.

The specs are below in my signature ...

I will be saying a farewell to the old Compaq 5WV-280 ... may it rest in peace :D

Thanks LT ... but believe it or not ... it is not a cathode light.

It is actually one of these LAZER LED (http://www.3dxtreme.org/lazerledp1.shtml) lights
