I have a dsl connection shared by 3 computers: one on windows 95, one on windows Me and one on windows XP. They are all connected to a Linksys EtherFast 10/100 Workgroup Hub (EFAH05W v2). The connection is perfect on all computers except on the one with XP, which keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes or so. I am 100 % sure the problem has to do with the hub, because if I link the modem directly to the XP computer without passing through the hub, the connection is stable. Is there a way to fix this?

The manual here doesn't say that the hub is compatible with windows XP (p.3 second paragraph), so do I have to buy another hub? If so, what model would work with windows XP?

First thing is do you have 3 ip's most ISP make you buy ip's after the first one. A hub does not do a very good job as a gate way to the internet. The best thing you could do is get a router
