Networking a Satalite Connection

Can anybody help get me started?
I am trying to network 4 computers to share my 2 way satalite connection. I have a router already (not connected).
The problem I am having is finding information on how to connect to modem to the router. The modem only uses a USB connection, therfore it can't be connected directly to the router. Every site that I have gone to for information only covers modem connections with RJ-45's.
Any advice or direction would be a great help!

Our little shop has four computers networked with the newest 2 gig machine hosting the satellite network. (make shure you have the latest edition of your satellite software, big speed difference on ours Direcway))... The satellite "modems" are hooked up to the machines usb port and then we have internet sharing enabled. Main comp has xp home installed, the others 98se. Others on the network are not as fast as the main unit but Im working on that. Only real drawback is that the main unit must be on for others to see internet, but no real issue there.
