Very low Upload speeds

Hi,

As I said in my earlier post, my speeds are very low, especially my upload speed. It never exceeded 30kbps.

When I do speed tests from DSLreports etc, it shows my upload speed to be near 100kbps. But practically it never exceeded 30kbps.

I tried tweaking with Customizer, but no positive result.

What do i have to do to increase my upload speed ?

Are you confusing K(bits) and K(bytes)? If your caps are 256k(bits) up and you are getting 30k(bytes), then youa re VERY close to your caps and are in great shape. Speed tests usually show results in bits while the 'download dialog' you get from windows displays in bytes.


Post your advertized caps and then post results from a tweak test so we can see what your tcp settings are.
