program to monitor cable modem connection in ME

hiya everyone. was wondering if someone could recommmend or is there a program out that that will allow me ot monitor my cable connection in window ME? something similar to wut they have for win 2000 that sits in the sys tray?

any info that u could pas on would be a great help.
