OK here we go again , what ever happened to " if it aint broke, dont fix it"

We are getting xp machines at work. I have a 98se machine at home. For those of you that dont know me I am a corporate pilot that runs the computer system at the hanger.

My problem is that I used macaffe remote to gain access to peoples computers at work when i was at home to help them with problems that they are having.

My understanding is that xp has sometheing called remote connect or something like that. But that xp wont work with mcaffee remote.

How can i get my 98se machine to connect to these machine the same way that i use to use for mcaffe???

YIKES:rolleyes:

I would suggest trying VNC (http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/index.html) it's free and works great.:) ;)

Windows XP has a built in Remote Desktop application. You can download the software for Win 98 from Microsoft.

VNC probably does a lot more, but this may be easier to set up. Doesn't hurt to have a few options to pick from.
