Demo question, quick (hopefully)

If you dl a demo does it remember how long you had it installed or just that you already had it installed?

I downloaded a demo that has a 30 day trial period. If I remove it the first day and reinstall it again later will I get 29 more days next time I install it? Will it just remember that I already had it, and not let me reinstall the next time?

on windows 98 i could reinstall paintshop pro many times no trouble, in windows XP no chance of that happening.

so i bought it, money well spent.

Some older software might allow you to do so. Or as snake said, on win98, you can do it on most software, however in 2k/XP, they remember when you installed. Some of them will even terminate the use of the program before expire date if you try to reinstall it! :)
