How do i determine what ports a certain online game use? i would have posted this in gaming forum but nonone ever answer there

Sometimes it's under the setup options for the game or just start the game and allow it to go online and minimize it so when your firewall asks for permission just allow it.:) :D

sorry MOS im trying to figure somethings out on an online game i play and that answer dont help :D what im getting at is i think people are some how manipulating thier ports to make thier game play better. like messing with upload or download so they kill you alot easier but thet dont die. I know its trivial but id appreciate opinions on is this possible and what might they be doing? oh and which is which? when i shoot someone is that download and when they should me is it upload? LOL i know im a nut but any help is appreciated
