View Full Version : Weapon Question in UT2003
In Noevo's post about the jeep (in the pictures) the weapon he is holding.... I've used it several times and when you hold down the right mouse button it will fire multiple rounds. Sometimes when holding down the right button you get for small red dots as if its locking onto the target. I've been aiming directly at someone and the lock should come on but it doesn't?? What am I missing?
you have to keep it on someone for a few seconds before it locks like you're talking about.
It will lock whether you have a button pressed or not.
Left mouse on the Rocket Launcher will fire one round instantly.
Right mouse you can press and hold and "load" up to three rounds that fire at once, either in a spread pattern or a really sweet sprialing pattern (depending on when you let go of the right mouse button)
Thanks Noevo. I couldn't figure out why the Rocket Launcher shot in 2 different patterns. I was trying to get the spiral pattern but it always seems to come out flat (?)
Where can I find a good reference on different movement patterns? I've been playing online all day and can't figure out to to do a flip when I jump.
This is a great FAQ. It explains the Rocket Launcher patterns as well as all the other weapons.

The flips you are talking about is called "dodging" In your settings screen make sure dodging is enabled. Then its simple double tapping (quickly) any of the keys you use for direction and you will flip in that direction. You will not see yourself flip, but others will see it as a flip. you will just see it like a jump for the most part. The FAQ I linked to has a small section on jumping/dodging as well.
www.unrealtournament2003.com check out the weapons section.:D
I found the answer
Rocket Launcher
New Trick : Hold secondary attack to load (up to) 3 missiles. While they are loading, press and hold primary attack. Now the (3) rockets will swirl around each other instead of lining up.
