I have everyting set up using Wingate. I have 2 pc's,

My main pc is getting 950k and pc #2 is getting 49 during gaming.

I tested pc #2 speed when I wasnt gaming and it was fine.

I need to find out if there is a way to throttle bandwidth between the 2 pc's or control it in any way.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

As you know, gaming is very data intensive. Since wingate is a software solution you're probably getting data packet collisions.
A hardware solution, such as a router would be more effective.
Don't know of any way to "allocate" bandwidth.

What is the absolute cheapest router out there?

Anyone know?

Also, Since I'm on DSL, I have the option to use a Home Portal 1000 made by 2wire. Have you heard any bad things about the HP 1000?

You can get a Linksys BEFSR41 from NewEgg (http://www.newegg.com) for $63.00. You may find even cheaper on eBay for a used one.
