I'm curious... I have 2 Internal 2k DNS Servers.... and someone told me that with it, you can see what sites people on your network have been too (what sites the DNS servers have resolved) is this true? if so..how can i do it?
I just wanna make sure i know everything about my server
I'm not sure if this is true. I'm an MCSE in Win2k and have studied DNS quite a lot - I've never heard this!
There may be some logging enabled somewhere though but you'll have to explore the dns console.
sorry!!

Open up DNS, go to the view menu and enable the advanced view. A folder named Cached Lookups will appear. That folder will show you every site that has been resolved on your domain, if you have DNS set up properly with the right forwarders.

Nope, not really.
There are other DNS programs out there like SimpleDNS that do a much better job then Microsoft DNS and dont use BIND. But they all should have a cache table that is viewable.
