Team production is dropping...

We are producing less that 4800 per week now and we seem to be dropping at the rate of ~100 per day from our weekly production high of over 5100 last week...

It seems that we have lost quite a few folders... :(

I am trying to bring in more cpu's to the team but it is a challenge when I am not at the computer to see to it that it is set up. I have been asking my friends who are not SG members to install at least the screen saver and let it run. A few said they would do it others plan to do it at a later date. I am still building up some puters. Hopefully soon I will have some help.

I've had 3 WU's lost on Monday and right now I have 3 computers trying to send and get new WU's with no success. Checked the server status and they say they are accepting, but for some reason they aren't accepting from me.

Tried reboot, restart, and none of it has helped.

I lost my main rig for about 16 hours last week after upgrading to XP service pack 1 so I had entire farm out of action costing me about 100 cpu hours. Removed service pack and no problems since then so my production is back to normal.

Just did XP SP1...luckily went smoothly.

Well finally got 2 of the 3 computers working on new WU's, but still have 1 computer that since 10am this morning has been:

Could not get ID from server. Retrying.....
Could not connect to Assignment Server 1
Could not connect to get work <Assignment Server 2>!

over and over and over with short intermissions of inputing my ID, folding team, auto connect, etc.

I know it's getting onto the internet because I can set and watch my TX/RX lights flash each time it does it.

Any ideas?

I'm still rolling along! Even got my pc at work folding. Usually my boss turns it off so I just turn off the monitor before I leave, she will never know. It's been folding for a straight 5 days so far besides at home. :)

i still have mine going. but its like 2 or 3 days per wu. friends said i can install it on there machine but i have to do it cause they dont want to cause they said there confused. so i have to download and burn it and go to there houses and to hinder the process even more i dotn drive and ram out of cd-r's and my floppy drive is broken. gunna get one from my neighbor. ttyl

You don't need to burn it on a cd..............just go to your friend's house and log into Speedguide. Use the link in Phil's info thread and start your download. ;)

Well I guess the names I was calling them finally worked. The assignment server finally answered and gave me some wu's to play with.

Well I just looked into the config on my 2k rig and I been folding as Anonymous. Don't know how I pulled that boner, but it's all fixed and I just added a third rig to the cause, should pick it up a bit......
