My pc keeps cutting off and going to sleep.

My computer keeps going to sleep or cutting off after I have been on it awhile. I went to the power management already and my settings are still the same....I have them set to never turn off and always stay on but this still keeps happening. Can someone tell me what else this could be.

There are some settings in the BIOS for power management, as well as the ones in windows.

When your PC boots up look for a message that says what key to hit to enter the BIOS. It will be "Delete" or "F1", something like that. Here is a link to a site that has excellent BIOS info.

The ones you want to look at are
"Power Management" I set mine to User Defined , Disabled.
"PM Control by APM", NO
"Video off option", Always On
This is of course if you don't want them to ever turn off.
