View Full Version : DOS command
Is there is a site for DOS I can refresh my mind with the older command I used to use in DOS?
Right Here (http://www3.sympatico.ca/rhwatson/) buddy.
If you want an offline version of that, with an installer so you can access it anytime, let me know and I'll give you a link. Bob Watson gave me permission to makeup an installer for his Dos help files.
Yea what is the offline link
Here ya go Islam. Once it's installed, it will be in your 'Start' menu like any other install. Named: Dos7Help
Dos7Help (http://home.cogeco.ca/~steadman/Dos7Hlp.exe)
ON the Windows 95 and 98 CD you can use help.exe. It lists all the the MS-DOS 6.22 commands and their functions.
You can copy it within your path and use it for a reference when your DOS hacking :D

Nice link Norm, I downloaded the executable should come in handy. Like Stef said you can copy Help.hlp, Help.com, Qbasic.exe and Qbasic.hlp from the Tools\Oldmsdos folder on the 95/98 CD to C:\windows\command. This will give you the old msdos help function at the dos prompt.
