Possible to share with specific computers only?

Hi.. i have windows XP all across the lan and i would like to know how can I share a file with a specific computer ONLY...

Maybe by assigning a different private ip for the computer on an advance tab on the TCP IP settings...

I have a dsl modem connected to 192.168.1.x
and all the other computers too, I was wondering if I used an alternate IP for my 2 computers to share as 192.168.0.x and they could see each other and none other on the net or something like that...

I was wondering if this is possible.. THanks

Easy, and can leave your computers network scheme the same. Whatever the other computer user logs into that computer with, meaning username and password.....on your XP machine, in the management console, add that user...same exact username and password. Now create a folder, share it out only to your local administrator account, and that user.
