Why aren't ya'll flying anymore?

Nah, not tired of it...had to reformat the system this weekend, and between that, and trying to get things done around the house, just haven't had time to play...I'm going to try and get some flight time tonight tho, after I get a few things done around here :)

My servers been giving me some big time problems with the connection. I'm about to replace the mobo and reformat, so hopefully things will be up to par on my end soon.

I was kinda wondering the same thing. I just got FS and a new joystick recently and I havent tried it online yet :(

BTW...When I do connect..what button is chat? Or is there a window you can open up? Im not really sure. :(

In the game when flying around you just press "Enter" to bring up the chat box. It is often best to press "p" before pressing "Enter" to pause the simulation. Also Roundeye check PM's.:D

Join the SG Flight Club (http://www.msnusers.com/SGFlightClub), all the IP and password info is there. The bad thing is tonight I have to do a format and install. IE is giving me big problems, my DNS is screwed up and it's causing problems on my whole network. I really don't feel like doing this right now, but it has to get done.

Yep, go to www.avsim.com and in their file library is a bunch of scenery addons :)

Man, did this ever go South! I don't know what the hell happened but my raid crashed, went to go boot my server and got "invalid system disk....". I like to **** a whole litter of kittens! :eek: Raid 0+1, so I couldn't get to my data at all. Brought my PC to work and called Promise tech support, had to delete and recreate the raid, but still couldn't load Win2K back onto the drives???? So I pulled the drive from my game PC with XP on it and plugged it into the IDE channel, at that point I could see my data and got it backed up to the server at work, good thing we have a 300+ Gig raid 5 :D.

So at this point my servers still at work, my data is on the server there, and I went from raid 0+1 to two mirrored sets. Raid 0+1 may be a lot faster but if this ever happens again, I'll still be able to get to my data if it's on mirrored sets.

I'll have the flight sim server up and running this weekend so long as nothing else jumps up and bites me on the ass. :eek:

lol, yeah, I've been flying alone when I get home from work and playing Ghost Recon.
