CS + XP = Bad mouse acceleration

my friend is playing counter-strike on his comp and hes doin 180s when he moves the mouse back and forth. hes got a P3 750, 512 sd ram, tnt2, and xp. hes got all the newest drivers and i have even tried adding all those lines to the target of the shortcut -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel and +voice_dsound 1. it cant be the mouse itself because its a brand new explorer.... anyone know whats up??

not sure how to fix that but i have seen others with the same problem.

myself i had it after the latest CS update that when i went to strafe and mouse look one or the other would stop working, and if i went and moved while shooting my mouse look would stop responding.
it only happened when i played on someone elses server though.

i tried all kinds of fixes and never could figure it out :(

i just reformated about 3-4 weeks ago and have not tried it yet so who knows.

FYI, I have 3 XP rigs running CS and have never had a mouse speed problem.

yeah i dont know what it is. i have mine workin on xp and i havent had any problems. i think im gunna try to install CS retail on his cuz thats what i am running. i can use a HL cd key on a CS retail cant i? i thought you could do that so i think ill try that. i just think its his P.O.S. dell....
