Should I get High ping with my connection?

I got ADSL 256 bps connection
should i get high ping?

Its hard to say due to so many things
How bizzy the severs how far the sever is from you how bizzy your isp is how bizzy the net is can all cause high latacey 256 down isnt that bad

You shouldn't if you choose good servers that are not too far....

u can have oc3 straight to yer house but u can still get a high ping if you choose to play in a 32 player server hosted on a 28.8 kb modem in the jungles of africa

The thing is that when i played in DF:TFD my ping is somthing like 190, and this server is in the UK (i live in israel).
But once i checked my ping in Counter Strike, and it got ping of 30!! nevermind what was the loacaiton (it was like that at all the servers)
and when i played Quake 3, i still got ping of somthing like 200...
