Help Running a Battlefield 1942 Server

I want to run a battlefield 1942 game server my system is a 1.1 ghz AMD athlon 512mb pc133 I have Cableone.net internet 800/200 (half T1). My problem is that i cant run a game with more then 4 people if i get any Higher then that Everyone complains about lag I dont see any lag but then again Iam on the server! can i do anything about this or am i screwed?

Upload speed is the key for hosting online games. So with 200k upload 4 people are probably about the norm. What are the pings to the people playing in your server? It only takes one person on dial-up to screw up the game for everyone else. Or it could be the demo also. Wait until the 'real' version of the game comes out, maybe EA will improve it some more.
