I'm sure there's an easy way to do it, but I don't know what it is..
Thanks.

In Iomega's tools....right click your drive when disk is inserted, properties....you'll find status and protection levels there.

The permissions were already set to allow "everyone" full access, but just for good measure I added my username and most of the others listed. That didn't do anything. It still says the disk is write protected. Windows help doesn't help either. I've been through all the options in the "properties" tab and none seem to help or change anything, and I haven't been able to find something specifically for write protection. Any other ideas?

Got it. What I had to do was download and reinstall my zip drive driver, then long format the disk. Now I can use it. Thank you.
